Fears

Stop and hold your stare
You can see that I shiver
It's a shame you won't be there
Lacking the sweet from the bitter

I know it's not forever
If I ever let it go
I've got to let it go

Wear a shade
I'll show you my light
Burst bright to the eyes
Dare yourself to come close
Don't be afraid for tonight
Hold my hand, grab the fears, throw them off a cliff
And see them blow
Hold my hand, drive me home, throw all the 'what if's
And see how it goes
Let's see how it goes

Stop and hold your gaze
See the crack on my armor
The fears had crept in
I'm in a daze
They left me shook in terror

I know it's not forever
If I ever let it go
I've got to let it go

You can see through the telescope
So full of hanging hopes
But once you figured out
You let it slide, you let it die

Burn the unlit bulbs
Guise all the broken glass
Fix them, bloody past
With dark tape, it's the new age

See through the telescope
The thin line of the rope
Once you reach out
Hold on to it, please savor it

I said,
I'll show you my light
Burst bright to the eyes
Dare yourself to come close
Don't be afraid for tonight
Hold my hand, grab the fears, throw them off a cliff
And see them blow
Hold my hand, drive me home, throw all the 'what if's
And see how it goes

See how we go from here
I need you to be near
See how we go from here
We've overcome the fears

What's Left

She realized it's time to brace herself for the fall
Though in denial for the final last stupid call
Sat alone, thinking 'bout the change that occur
Too strong to cry but too weak to get over

Organized her life, unprepared for all the bumps
A broken smile plastered on her face, she becomes
the last one standing on the sidewalk
Can't help but wish she has someone to talk

Complicated it seems, such a life it has been
What's left is to pray and shrug it all away

Mistakes were made for those he won't pay
Ignore were the step he took to run away
Fun and games were all he could think
Little did he knows, he's guilty within

All it took is a messed up prank by messed up friends
A heart was opened for the first time that night
A feeling that he was long trying to fight
And finally it had come to his sight

Complicated it seems, such a life it has been
What's left is to say, "sorry and please forgive me."

It's a story of a flower off the cage
Two eyes find each other a clue
Turns red that formed huge rage
To blue that shined hope, oooh

Complicated it seems such a life it has been
What's left is to make amends and swear to not break

An Angel With A Shotgun

An angel with a shotgun, they said
I'm out of bullets they made
Surrounded by fire and I escape

Growing up in dark, creep alley
The results may be vary
Surrender or beware the shots I carry

Chorus:
I'm becoming someone I looked up to reluctantly
I hear an odd voice inside me shouting
"Dude, can't you see?"
I'm just an angel with a shotgun
An angel with a shotgun.

The sacrifice, I know it's stupid
And all the lies, I know it's worth it
Skipping time, we're assigned
Believing everything is fine

The raging war, I might be losing
Shielded scar, and look I've come this far
There's an illusion of a ghost I can't see
I'm aware but no I ain't disagree

I'm becoming someone I looked up to reluctantly
Would the world around hear me shouting,
"Dude, can't you see?"
I'm just an angel with a shotgun
An angel with a shotgun.

I'm an angel with a shotgun
But I'm outta bullets

Depth

I stood and looked at you
Our eyes talked and argued
These things holding me through
Ridiculous slang
The fake Dracula fang
And the parody songs we sang

Spitfire ignites in us
4 am and it’s just...

Chorus:
You’re on the rooftop
Staring, I’m leaving
I swear my heart could stop
As I hold my tears from falling
My feet from turning

I’m in deep, ocean depth

What could go wrong, babe?
I need to be strong and
Go against the usual flow, hiding low

I am needed this time
No offer to decline
Realized I can never leave the past behind

Chorus:
You’re on the rooftop
Staring, I’m leaving
I swear my heart could stop
As I hold my tears from falling
My feet from turning

It will be dangerous, treacherous
Need to prove: flawless
In this roadless battlefield
If I did go for real
Will you hold me and feel
And forgive

Spitfire ignites in us
4 am and it’s just...

Chorus:
You’re on the rooftop
Staring, I’m leaving
I swear my heart could stop
As I hold my tears from falling
My feet from turning

You leave the rooftop
And wear all the memories
I wish the time would just stop
‘Cause I fear the what ifs
The consequences
The heartaches
It's high risk at stake

Baby, take a deep breath
'Cause I’m in deep ocean depth
