math song haha

I guess it's hard to apply what we do
from what we're taught in school to the life that is true
It's inevitable, it's kinda of laughable
So we forget it all after it's all over

It's time we fight the inner thought that think it was lame
to put our heart and soul in this mathematics game
From a multiple of things to a couple to one
You wouldn't make it if you don't think this is fun

I guess it's time to make a change
to pass the test, not pass the blame
to understand, not cheat with shame
to realize
to use the brain

Because we can
like it is all we do
Because we can
when it is me and you

I Don't Have The Answer For This

I wake up in the dark
I'm cranky so please don't turn the lights up
In my head, it's braindead
The universe spins and I'm already sick

Static in my ears
Starts to wipe my tears
I don't know why but I'm already here
Sick of always wrong
Please just move along
Thought I saw something but there's nothing here

I don't have the answer for this! (2x)
And I'm alone by myself tonight
There's nothing here that sounds just right
The cat downstairs just give me a fright

Questions in, nothing's out
I'm at number one, but help, I am blacked out
Need a pill, I'm shivering
Judges are like bullets that pierce in

Take a deep breath, dear
Overcome my fear
Rubbish keeps flowing in as if I'm not here
Get my head off clear
from the mess, disappear!
Left and right, thank God, the coast is clear

I don't have the answer for this! (2x)
So I better start to search for it
Before it's getting far too late
And later people will find me dead

Right or wrong are just abstract arts
What's sincere and true is in our hearts
If the thoughts that count then just spin around
And block all the dirt and the mocking sound
When the fire's out but still it burns
Then trust me dear, that's how we learn
We'll smile and we'll laugh and we'll dance and we'll love
and we'll make it through even when it's rough

I finally have the answer for this! (2x)
But I shouldn't care for it at all
Hey, push me down but I won't fall
Fire's out and there I stand tall
Fire's out, I'm over it all
And the fire's out, I'll burn it back up

Stephanie Brown, my hero...

Stephanie Brown
"The only variable you can control is yourself. You can forget who you are, or you can be who you want to be. That’s why you stay. You stay for a second chance."

Stephanie Brown. She's my hero, you know. I can relate to her somehow.

"That little “here we go” at the end of Batgirl #24 always, always gets me. As though it is not truly an ending, but simply a different kind of beginning.

I think what makes this entire series so uplifting is the vivid sense of hope in it. As many terrible things as she’s been through, Steph’s still so hopeful that it. It never fails to bring me genuinely to tears; I am constantly reminded me that I, too, am capable of this kind of outlook. And I think, to varying degrees, we all are. I like to hope so, anyway."

We're just this damn naive little girls who's still hoping, still optimist about this world. Little kindness like saying 'thank you' is big enough to us. We're not the best at what we're good at, but we're okay.

Wait a minute, I thought our motto was “Hakuna Matata”.

Oh my God... I miss this. So. Much.

Fears

Stop and hold your stare
You can see that I shiver
It's a shame you won't be there
Lacking the sweet from the bitter

I know it's not forever
If I ever let it go
I've got to let it go

Wear a shade
I'll show you my light
Burst bright to the eyes
Dare yourself to come close
Don't be afraid for tonight
Hold my hand, grab the fears, throw them off a cliff
And see them blow
Hold my hand, drive me home, throw all the 'what if's
And see how it goes
Let's see how it goes

Stop and hold your gaze
See the crack on my armor
The fears had crept in
I'm in a daze
They left me shook in terror

I know it's not forever
If I ever let it go
I've got to let it go

You can see through the telescope
So full of hanging hopes
But once you figured out
You let it slide, you let it die

Burn the unlit bulbs
Guise all the broken glass
Fix them, bloody past
With dark tape, it's the new age

See through the telescope
The thin line of the rope
Once you reach out
Hold on to it, please savor it

I said,
I'll show you my light
Burst bright to the eyes
Dare yourself to come close
Don't be afraid for tonight
Hold my hand, grab the fears, throw them off a cliff
And see them blow
Hold my hand, drive me home, throw all the 'what if's
And see how it goes

See how we go from here
I need you to be near
See how we go from here
We've overcome the fears

Little Wonders

Little Wonders by Rob Thomas

Let it go, let it roll out of your shoulder
Don't you know?
The hardest part is over...

Teringat dengar lagu ni masa kecik. Masa tu ada Meet The Robinsons, kat Disney.
And heck yeah, I fell in love with this song. Soothing. So nostalgic...

Fears (Poem)

First, I'm standing at the top
The height had doubled my thoughts
The force from falling down
The blow from the lower ground

Second, the people's voices
Hungry for the mistakes, the wrongs
Not to save but to laugh
Though, thanks
You're making me tough

Third, the weakness reveal
Never a good liar, but never the one to expose
Being so little does help, no one will see me
So no one will use me, I suppose

Fourth, the left out
Better to be alone from the start
than to leave when it's starting to last
like shooting broken arrow to the heart

Fifth, the pain from the hurt
The pitch black from the dark
The sudden from the alert
The burn from the mark

Fears, fears, fears
The voices, the thoughts
Make one miserable
Make two rival

Fears, fears, fears
The voices, the thoughts
Make one tough
Make two love

Inspired by Divergent, actually. To be Dauntless, you have to face you fears.
The collection of the fears from the book.
